Lyndon Men’s Soccer Adds Nevada All-State Goalkeeper Cayden Cowley

Lyndonville, VT - Cayden Cowley (Pahrump, NV) of Pahrump Valley High School has deposited and committed to the Vermont State University Lyndon Men's Soccer team for the fall 2026 semester. He plans to study criminal justice.

Cowley has been a three year starting varsity goalkeeper for the Trojans. He played in all 16 games for Pahrump Valley, making 102 saves while only allowing 18 goals. This performance earned him a First Team All-League, Second Team All-State, and Nevada All-Star Team selections. In addition, the Southern Nevada High School Soccer Coaches Association named Cowley the goalkeeper of the year. He was also named his team's MVP and helped lead the Trojans to their first playoff win since 2001. Outside of soccer, he was also a three year varsity golfer at Pahrump valley.

Andrew Norton, Pahrump Valley's Varsity soccer coach, had high praise for Cowley, "Cayden has one of the best work ethics I've ever seen on the field, especially as a high schooler. He is truly the heart and soul of this Pahrump Valley soccer team. You can tell he means business the moment he steps onto the field."

Head Coach Zach Blaser commented, "We look forward to having Cayden on the team this upcoming season. He has a demanding presence on the field with great reflexes. His quick reactions and ability to command his backline will be great additions to the program."

Cowley joins Fisher Lajoie, Adrian Placencia Jr., and Gavin Rummler in Lyndon's Fall 2026 recruiting class. The Hornets expect to announce more commitments in the near future.
