Lyndonville, Vermont - Adrian Placencia Jr. (Lincoln, California) of Twelve Bridges High School in Lincoln, California has deposited and committed to the Vermont State University - Lyndon Men's Soccer program for the Fall 2026 semester. Placencia Jr. will study Business with a Management concentration.
Placencia played both striker and winger for the Raging Rhinos. He was a 4-year varsity player, and named an All-League player in 3 of those seasons. Once to the 1st team and twice to the All-League 2nd team. He notched 11 goals and 6 assists in his varsity career.
In addition to his high school success, Placencia was active on the club soccer circuit playing for San Juan ECNL and San Juan ECRL. His club team finished as the Runner-Ups in the North Huntington Beach Cup, with Placencia playing a key role in their success.
Outside of soccer, Placencia is a high level Cross Country and Track Athlete for Twelve Bridges and has garnered First Team All-League selections in both sports. He also was a 2nd place finisher in his divisional championship race for cross country. He was a 4-year first chair concert band member for his school and was a member of the volleyball team as well.
Head Coach Zach Blaser is confident in Placencia's abilities to help the Hornet attack, "Adrian is a highly competitive player and will be adding speed and attacking quality to our roster this upcoming season. His ability to both score and assist, as well as drop back to defend on counterattacks, will be a great addition to the program."

Placencia Jr. is the 2nd commit of Lyndon's Fall 2026 recruiting class, joining Fisher Lajoie. The Hornets expect to announce additional commitments in the near future.
