His High School coach instilled this quote into his players, including Getz "Just because it is hard now, doesn't mean it always will be".
Men's Soccer coach Zach Blaser is happy to bring Getz into his program "Gavin is a player that I have been talking to for a while. He heavily focuses on his academics and is competitive in goal thanks to his high height and stature. He has solid distribution from out the back whether it is a goal kick or a punt. We look forward to having him on the team this year".
Getz joins Fisher Lajoie, Adrian Placencia Jr., Gavin Rummler, Cayden Cowley and Evan Perez in Lyndon's Fall 2026 recruiting class. The Hornets expect to announce additional commitments in the near future.
