Lyndonville, VT - Saturday's scheduled North Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader between Vermont State University Lyndon and the State University of New York at Cobleskill was rained out. There is no reschedule information available at this point.
The rain didn't deter the Hornets from recognizing their ten senior baseball players: Kearson Grisham (Choctaw, MS), Luis Rivera Pellot (Wimauma, FL), Dale Ostermann (Harrington, DE), Joey Hanlon (Trinity, FL), Chuck Gratton (Bennington, VT), Dylan Crump (Falls Village, CT), Will Perkins (Holtwood, PA), Carlos Rodriguez (La Mirada, CA), Alberto Bustamante (Northridge, CA), and Jacob Wechselblatt (Reston, VA). In a ceremony prior to the scheduled start of the doubleheader, the seniors were joined on the field by family and friends, and presented tokens of appreciation for their contributions to Lyndon baseball and to Vermont State University.
Lyndon and Cobleskill are scheduled to play another NAC doublehader on Sunday afternoon. First pitch is slated for noon.
