Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Lyndon volleyball player Kiara Mack (Milton, VT) has been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced on Tuesday.
Mack, a senior with a 3.86 grade point average, is double majoring in Restorative Justice and Criminal Justice. This is the second year in a row that Mack has been named to the Volleyball Academic All-District Team. It is also the fourth consecutive sports season that Mack has been named Academic All-District. In addition to being recognized in volleyball in both 2024 and 2025, she received the honor in women's lacrosse for Spring 2024 and in women's basketball for Winter 2024-25.
Mack concluded her Lyndon career with 256 kills, placing her fifth on the program's modern NCAA era career kills list. She also ranks fifth in blocks with 65. She is tied with Erica Ponte '13, for most career matches played with 82. This past season Mack recorded 149 kills, 140 digs, and 30 blocks.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The top Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 13.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-2026 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
