Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Lyndon will open its 2024 men's and women's cross country season on Saturday, September 7th, when the Hornets compete in the annual Randolph Knights Maple Syrup Challenge.
The Hornet men's and women's schedules currently include two other regular season invitationals.  Lyndon will travel to Thomas College in Waterville, ME, for the Terrier Invitational on Saturday, September 28th.  Then on Friday, October 4th, the Hornets will race in the Norwich Cadet Invitational at Norwich University in Northfield, VT.  Lyndon expects to add other invitationals and dual races to round out the regular season schedule.
The season will climax with the North Atlantic Conference Championship meet, hosted by the State University of New York at Delhi on November 2nd, and the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship, hosted by Connecticut College on November 16th.
Chris Chichester takes over the Hornet program this season. Â The 2021 Lyndon graduate will look to rebuild the Hornet program into NAC contenders.
