Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Lyndon has released its 2024 women's soccer schedule. The Hornets will open the campaign on Monday, September 2nd, at 11:00 am, when they host Paul Smith's College on Varsity Field.
The Hornets have a 14-game regular season slate, featuring six North Atlantic Conference matchups.
Vermont State Lyndon competes in the NAC's West Division for women's soccer along with the State University of New York at Cobleskill, the State University of New York at Delhi, and Vermont State University Johnson. The Hornets will square off against each of their three division rivals twice, once home and once on the road. The top three teams in the West division and the top four in the East division qualify for the NAC playoffs.
Vermont State Lyndon's eight non-conference matches will include a non-conference contest against NAC East Division member Thomas College and games against NCAA Division III schools Salem State University, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and Plymouth State University. The Hornets will also face National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics member Fisher College, and United States Small College Athletic Association members Paul Smith's, Bay Path University, and Vermont State University Randolph.
Lyndon will be looking to improve upon a 2023 season that saw them finish with a 1-13 overall record. The Hornets were winless in eight NAC matches..
