Waterville, ME - Vermont State University Lyndon baseball player Evan Duncan (Little Elm, TX) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 28th, as announced by the conference office on Monday.  It's the second time in three weeks that Duncan has earned the honor, as he was also named Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 14th.

Duncan, a freshman Exercise Science major, hit .583 for the week with a 1.667 slugging percentage.  He homered in three consecutive conference wins over UMaine-Presque Isle over the weekend.  With two doubles, a triple and three home runs, Duncan had six extra base hits for the week.  The Texas native also scored nine runs and had 11 putouts and two assists in the outfield.

Duncan and the Hornets host Husson University for a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon.  First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
