Waterville, ME - Vermont State University Lyndon baseball player Evan Duncan (Little Elm, TX) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 14th, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Duncan, a freshman Exercise Science major, hit .500 over three games last week, as the Hornets split a pair of NAC games with Thomas before falling to Fisher in a non-conference matchup. He drove in four runs, scored four times, and delivered three extra base hits, including a two-run home run that ignited the Hornets' 5-0 NAC win over Thomas.
Duncan and the Hornets host Husson University for a doubleheader on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
