The hitting outburst was a stark turnaround after the Bobcats limited the Hornets to only one hit in the opener, a 4-1 Bryant & Stratton victory. The nightcap win was Lyndon's first of the season and left the Hornets with a 1-11 record. The split left the Bobcats with a 5-17-1 mark.
