PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Junior Ryan McIntosh and sophomore Joe Perry had three hits apiece and sophomore Spencer Webb hit a home run and knocked in three as Plymouth State University defeated Lyndon 15-2, in a non-conference baseball game at Panther Park.

The Panther bats exploded for 15 runs on 16 hits, matching their season high in runs scored.  PSU plated four runs in the first inning and two in the second before putting the game out of reach with six runs in the fourth inning. The game was stopped after seven innings.

Perry had two doubles among his three hits, while senior Anthony Vadala also smacked a pair of two-baggers. All five Panther starters had at least one hit, with freshman Tucker Regan also contributing a single, a double and two RBI and classmate Ryan Theriault chipping in with a double and two runs batted in.

Junior Luke Merrill earned the victory for PSU, evening his record at 2-2. He pitched five innings and allowed just one earned run on six hits and no walks, striking out five.  Freshman Jeff Runnals worked two scoreless innings of relief.

Shayne Kirby (Fairfax, Va.) highlighted the day for Lyndon State with a solo home run to left field in the first inning. Corey Lescault (Bristol, R.I.) had two of the Hornets' eight hits.
