Husson opened up the contest with back-to-back doubles to left centerfield from Kyle Vanidestine and Ethan Guerette to make it 1-0. Chris Maguire lifted a sacrifice fly to deep left centerfield to extend the lead to 2-0. Jake Arthers connected for a solo home run to the power alley in left centerfield in the second inning to push the gap to 3-0 before Husson pushed across four more runs in the top of the third for a 7-0 advantage.

Jake Ainsworth (Fairfax, VT) cut into the gap with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth plating Robert Trucott (Lyndonville, VT) from second base to make it 8-1. In the bottom of the seventh, Stetson Hicks (Whitefield, NH) fisted a single to centerfield scoring Shawn Lonardelli (Lebanon, CT) to cut into the lead at 8-2. Trucott followed with a line drive single to left field to push the deficit to 8-3 before Husson tacked on one more run to cap the win. Jeremy Schichtle (Wells River, VT) suffered the loss.
