Box Score 2 LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Husson
University baseball team swept a doubleheader from Lyndon Sunday by
scores of 16-1 and 5-3.
In the opener, Husson starter Ryan Arsenault pitched a complete
game giving up one run on four hits while striking out seven Lyndon
batters. Cody Haverly-Jondro stroked three hits and drove in three
runs while teammates Ethan Guerrette and Chris Maguire each had two
hits and two RBI's for the Eagles.
Ben Clark (Brattleboro, Vt.), Robert Trucott (Lyndonville, Vt.), Isaac Earle
(Brattleboro, Vt.) and Korey Marsh (Essex,
Vt.) each had a hit for Lyndon. Shane Fleury
(Plainfield, Vt.) took the loss for the Hornets.
In Game 2, Husson picked up a 5-3 victory in eight innings.
Chris Morris picked up the win for the Eagles throwing a complete
game scattering seven hits. Jake Ainsworth
(Fairfax, Vt.) took the loss giving up two runs on two hits.
Guerrette doubled and drove in two runs for Husson while Maguire
again had two hits and two RBI's. Trucott and Ainsworth each
had two hits, including a double, and drove in a run for the
Hornets.
