Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Lyndon has released its 2026 women's soccer schedule. The Hornets will open the season on Tuesday, September 1st, with a 5:00 pm kickoff at Paul Smith's College in a non-conference matchup.
The Hornets have a 15-game regular season slate, featuring seven North Atlantic Conference matchups.
Each of the eight NAC soccer playing schools will face each other once. Lyndon will travel to Thomas College, Lesley University, Husson University, and Vwermont State University Lyndon. The Hornets will host the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Maine Maritime Academy, and the University of Maine at Farmington. The top five teams in the regular season will qualify for the NAC Championship Tournament, with the tournament winner earning automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship Tournament.
In addition to the season opener against Paul Smith's, Lyndon's non-conference slate will include home and away contests against Vermont State University Randolph, home games against the State University of New York at Canton and Bay Path University, and away matchups at New England College, the State University of New York at Cobleskill, and the State University of New York at Potsdam.
Lyndon will look to improve upon a 2025 campaign in which the Hornets returned to the pitch after not fielding a team in 2024. Lyndon finished 1-12 a year ago and was winless in nine NAC contests.
