Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Lyndon has released its 2025-26 women's basketball schedule. The Hornets will open their campaign on November 8th, when they travel to Vermont State University Randolph for the annual Vermont State University Tip-Off Classic.
The 25-game regular season schedule features 18 North Atlantic Conference matchups. This season all ten NAC institutions will play each other twice - once at home and once on the road. Other conference members include Husson University, Lesley University, Maine Maritime Academy, the State University of New York at Cobleskill, the State University of New York at Delhi, Thomas College, the University of Maine at Farmington, the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and Vermont State University Johnson. The top six teams in the regular season standings qualify for the NAC playoffs, with the NAC champion earning automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament..
In addition to the season opening Tip-Off Classic, Lyndon will round out the schedule with five additional non-conference games. The Hornets will open their home campaign against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on November 15th and host Wentworth Institute of Technology and Elms College later in the season. Lyndon will travel to Plymouth State University and New England College.
Robin Andrea takes over as head coach of the Hornets this season. Lyndon finished 10-15 a year ago. The Hornets finished 7-6 in conference play, good for second place in the NAC's West Division, and reached the conference quarterfinals, Lyndon has qualified for the NAC playoffs six times in the last seven seasons.
