Waterville, ME - Vermont State University Lyndon senior Lindsey Gannon (Beverly, MA) has been named to the 2025 North Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Sportsmanship Team, as voted on by conference coaches and announced on Tuesday.
Gannon played third singles and second doubles for the Hornets this season. She picked up her first career singles with with a victory over Katelyn Bruce of Simmons University on September 28th. The day before, her first doubles victory came teaming with Megan Richardson (Essex Junction, VT) for a win over Lesley University's Pamela Manriquez and Michal Nuriyev.
Seven student-athletes were selected to the NAC Women's Tennis Sportsmanship Team for consistently demonstrating the tenets of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees positively influenced the tennis culture and match environment by exemplifying integrity beyond the rules and etiquette of the game.
Gannon is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in the Spring.
