Delhi, NY- The Lyndon Women's tennis team fought hard, but ultimately fell to Suny Delhi 7-0.

In 1st doubles play, Hawa Mubarak (Burlington, VT) and Chloe Murphy (Manchester, NH) lost 6-0 to Alexia Przybylski and Alyssa Gregorius. 2nd doubles saw Lindsey Gannon (Beverly, MA) and Megan Richardson (Essex Junction, VT) lose to Kimberly Galan and Elizabeth Losee by a score of 3-6. The 3rd doubles set was forfeited to Virginia Savage and Alivia Mickle of Delhi. 

In singles play, both Megan Richardson and Chloe Murphy had close losses to Elizabeth Losee and Alexia Przybylski respectively. Richardson even made it to the tie breaker before eventually losing the match. Delhi closed out the rest of the singles matches and picked up two wins from forfeits to go on to win the match overall. 

SUNY Delhi Improves to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in NAC play, while Lyndon falls to 0-8 overall and 0-4 in NAC play. The Hornets look to get back on track this Saturday in a home match up against VTSU Johnson. The match will start off with doubles play at 11am.
