Saint Albans, VT - The Vermont State University Lyndon men's cross country team got a taste of higher division competition on Sunday afternoon.  The Hornets were the only Division III team to compete in the University of Vermont's Fall Foliage Invitational.  Division I Sacred Heart University took team honors.  Michael Mason of Sacred Heart was the individual winner, completing the 8K course in 26:07.6.

Nathan Moore (Norwich, CT) was the top Hornet finisher, crossing the finish line in 32:22.9.  Complete results for all Hornet runners are not yet available.

The next scheduled race for Lyndon is the North Atlantic Conference Championship, hosted by Husson University on November 1st.  The men's race will go off at 10:30 am.
