Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon cross country runner Andrew Grautski (Leominster, MA) has been named to the 2022 North Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Sportsmanship Team for the second year in a row. Conference cross country honors were announced by the NAC office on Friday.
Grautski, a senior atmospheric sciences major, was Lyndon's leading runner most of this season. His personal best came at the Keene State Invitational on October 1st, when he completed the 8K course in a time of 29:56.00. Grautski finished 55th overall with a time of 32:39.0 at last weekend's NAC Championships, despite being hampered by injury.
Selection to the Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the cross country culture and meet day environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond the rules and etiquette.

Grautski will conclude his Hornet career when he competes in the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships on Saturday, November 12th, at Saint Lawrence University. The men's championship race with go off at 12:00 noon.
