Lyndonville, VT - The Northern Vermont University-Lyndon women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Plymouth State University at the Dudley Bell Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.  The loss drops the Hornets to 1-6 on the season, while the Panthers improve to 4-2.

Plymouth opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches by 8-0 scores.  The Panthers followed that up with 6-0, 6-0 straight set wins over the Hornets in all six singles flights.

Lyndon returns to action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Lesley University for a North Atlantic Conference match.  Play will begin at 11:00 am.
