Johnson, VT - Lyndon State College senior Nichole Jones (Lisbon Falls, ME) picked up a win at 1st singles, but the Hornets dropped an 8-1 decision in Thursday's North Atlantic Conference women's tennis match at Johnson State College.  Jones, playing in the #1 spot fo the first time this season, defeated Johnson senior Nicole Monick, 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4).

Lyndon remains winless on the season, falling to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in NAC play.  The Hornets will be right back on the court tomorrow, as they travel to Plymouth State College for a 3:30 pm non-conference match.  With the win Johnson improved to 3-4 overall and evened their conference record at 2-2.
