Belgrade, ME - The Lyndon State College women's tennis team completed its weekend swing into Maine with a match against North Atlantic Conference foe Thomas College.  The two schools competed at the New England Golf and Tennis Camp.  Thomas came away with a 6-1 victory and earned their first win of the season in the process.  The Terriers are now 1-4 overall and 1-2 in NAC play while the Hornets fell to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the NAC.

Savannah Jackson (Barre, VT) picked up her first singles win of the season and Lyndon's only win of the day.  The sophomore defeated the Terriers' Sadie Farrand (Norridgewock, ME) at 3rd singles, 6-1, 1-6, 1-0 (10-7).

Lyndon returns to the courts on Thursday when they travel to Johnson State College for a 3:30 pm match.  Thomas plays at Green Mountain College next Saturday.
