NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Lyndon's 2014 season came to an end Friday with an 8-1 loss to Norwich University at Shapiro Field House.

Joe Dvorak teamed with Ian Hyte to take No. 1 doubles 8-3 over John Corey (Bennington, Vt.) and Trevor Updike Falmouth, Mass. Joan Carroll teamed with Tyler Eagan to win No. 3 doubles over Mike Desmond (Enfield, Conn.) and John Williams (Springfield, Mass.).

Norwich swept the doubles matches as Ryan Grindle and Jay Carter picked up the victory at No. 2 doubles over Tyler Hall (Keene, N.H.) and Josh Bacon (St. Johnsbury, Vt.) to take a 3-0 commanding lead in the match.

Carroll beat Williams 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles to close out her career in style, while Dvorak beat Bacon 6-1, 6-0. Grindle took No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-2 over Updike and Hyte swept Hall 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Patrick Ogden beat Desmond 8-1 in a pro set at No. 5 singles to complete the Norwich victories.
Corey picked up a win by forfeit over Christian Hoskey at No. 1 singles to pick up Lyndon's lone victory.
