Rochester, NY - Four members of the Vermont State University Lyndon men's tennis team were named to the Empire 8 Conference President's List when the conference announced its Spring 2026 academic honors on Tuesday.  In addition, the Hornets were named an Empire 8 All-Academic Team.

To be named to the President's List, student athletes must have earned a grade point average of 3.75 or better for the spring semester.  In addition, the student-athlete must display positive conduct on and off campus.  Lyndon honorees included:

        Joe Buchanan (McCordsville, IN), - Freshman, Human Services

        David Gratton (Newport, VT) - Senior Business Administration

        Addie Jensen (Coventry, VT) - Sophomore, Business Administration

        Bryan Nazario (Little Elm, TX) - Exercise Science - Individualized Program of Study

Teams whose composite semester grade point average was 3.2 or better were named All-Academic.  The Hornets' Spring 2026 team GPA was 3.39.
