Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. -- In the third meeting of the season between Lyndon and Thomas the result was another blowout win for one team. Lyndon ran out to a commanding 23-6 lead in the first ten minutes of the game and never looked backed. The Terriers never got within eight after that.
Lyndon shot 59% from the floor and 45% from behind the arc in the second half and ended up shooting 46% and 40% respectively for the game. Thomas on the other hand could not find the long ball and ended up shooting 22% for the game from three point land.
George Carle (Central Falls, R.I.) ended the first half with a double-double and finished with 15 points and a game high 17 rebounds. David Johnson (Washington, D.C.) had another strong game offensively for the Hornets with 26 points and six assists. Iser Barnes (Boston, Mass.) added 14 points and six rebounds while Rob Alers (Central Falls, R.I.) had 11 points and five rebounds.
Adam Carlsen led the way for the Terriers with 13 points, four assists and three rebounds. Also having a big game for Thomas was sophomore Levi Barnes who finished with 12 points, three rebounds, two blocks and two steals. The Terries finish the season with a record of 11-15.
Lyndon will play next on Friday night at Husson University versus the Husson Eagles at 7:30.
