NORTH ADAMS, Mass.- Visiting Lyndon swept all three doubles matches and then held off a late MCLA charge to earn a 7-2 North Atlantic Conference women's tennis victory on Saturday. 

The Hornets swept the doubles matches as Kayla Flynn (Johnston, R.I.) and Olivia Bernard (Barton, Vt.) topped the MCLA duo of Kelley Bryant and Stephanie Giardina 8-6 to earn a win in the first flight. The Hornets cruised through the remaining doubles matches, dropping only a single game allong the way.

In singles play, Kelsey Johnson (White River Junction, Vt.) returned to the lineup to capture a win in No. 3 singles while Flynn, Alexandria Maynard (East Hampton, Conn.) and Alexa Richard (Haverhill, Mass.) walked off with wins in the first (6-2, 6-0), fifth (6-0, 1-6, 10-7) and sixth (6-2, 6-0) flights.

MCLA earned their two points as Giardina (6-2, 6-1) earned a straight set win in the No. 2 slot, while Rebecca Waterhouse also won in fourth singles. Waterhouse won her match over Kelly Butler (Hubbardston, Mass.) 7-5, 7-5.
