LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Cassidy Robinson's goal at the 30:15 mark proved to be the game-winner as Mount Holyoke blanked Lyndon in its home opener at the Lyndon Athletics Field.

Robinson took a cross from Ashleigh Hartsock and deposited a shot into the lower left corner of the net behind Hornet goalkeeper Marley Harmon (Buxton, Maine). Nine minutes later, Ali Rossi upped the Lyons lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal that found its way into the right side of the net.

Leading 2-0 at intermission, Mount Holyoke ended any hopes of a Lyndon comeback by scoring two goals in a span of two minutes. Hartsock made it 3-0 off an assist from Machaela Wiggin at 65:30 and Hannah Yee closed out the scoring at 67:30 with a goal off a pass from Hartsock.

Lyons' goalie Alyssa Tabrisky stopped five shots to earn the shutout and Harmon made a total of nine saves in the loss. Mount Holyoke held a 25-10 edge in shots in the contest.
