Waterville, ME - Vermont State University Lyndon women's soccer player Aracely Delgado-Juarez (LaBelle, FL) has been named to the 2025 North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Sportsmanship Team, as voted on by conference coaches and announced on Tuesday.
Delgado-Juarez split time between goalkeeper and defense this past season. She was one of only two Hornets to play in and start all 13 games. In goal she recorded 109 saves with a .665 save percentage, and was credited with the win in Lyndon's lone win, a 2-0 victory over Vermont State University Randolph on October 26th.
Sportsmanship Team honorees were selected for consistently demonstrating the tenets of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. They positively influenced the soccer culture and race environment by exemplifying integrity beyond the rules and etiquette of the sport.
Delgado-Juarez, a freshman, is expected to return and be a leader and foundational piece of the 2026 Hornet team.
