Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Lyndon men's lacrosse team fell to 0-5 overall, and 0-3 in the North Atlantic Conference, with losses to Maine Maritime Academy and Husson University over the weekend.
Maine Maritime 19, Lyndon 3
Nick Betti scored five goals, and teammate Bronson Guimond added four to lead the Mariners to victory over the Hornets Sunday at Lyndon Institute's Forrest Field North. Alex Hermes and Cameron Wyman tallied three goals for Maritime (3-6, 3-1) while Nick Snelling, Evan Carrier, Wade Severance and Jack Tragert collected one each.
Snelling also had a team-high three assists in the match.
Corbet Munro had two goals for Lyndon and Robert Crupi had one. Tim Patten, Brett Lavigne and Colin Young were each credit with an assists in the contest.
Oscar Adams and James Wilgus combined to make 12 saves in the Mariners net while Matt Reynolds and James Strange had 23 saves for Lyndon.
Husson 22, Lyndon 4
Mitch Heaps poured in eight goals, and the foursome of Dustin Brett, Jack White, Dillon Shaw and Aaron Weinstein added to each to propel the Eagles to a win over the Hornets
Vinny Visconti, Alex Ryan, Brandon Corbo, Chris DelGudice, Matt Tabler and Connor Hudacko had one goal each for Husson (3-6, 2-0) and Eagle goaltenders Riley Costello and Eric Lund combined to make seven saves in the Eagle goal.
Tim Patten scored three goals to lead Lyndon and Robert Crupi added one off an assist from Patten. Matt Reynolds and James Strange had 32 saves for Lyndon.
