LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Colby-Sawyer ran its North Atlantic Conference record to 3-0, and 8-6 overall, with a 9-0 victory over Lyndon Thursday at the Dudley Bell Tennis Center.
Reeve Fidler and Nathan Taschereau teamed up to defeat Lyndon's Michael Howard and Tyler Schofield 8-2 in No. 1 doubles and the Charger tandem of Justin Pinard and Sergio Spassof topped John Corey and Tyler Hall 8-3 in the second flight.
The duo of Paul Holland and Clay Allen completed a sweep of doubles play for Colby-Sawyer, besting Daniel Weiner and Michael Desmond 8-1 in the No. 3 matchup.
In singles play, Taschereau beat Howard 6-0, 6-3 in first singles while Pinard topped Schofield 6-2, 6-2 in No. 2 singles. Allen blanked Corey 6-0, 6-0 in third flight singles and Spassof defeated Hall 6-1, 6-0 in No. 4 singles.
Fidler (6-1, 6-1) and Holland (6-0, 6-0) beat Weiner and Legge in fifth and sixth flight singles, respectively.
