Hornets blank Badgers

JOHNSON, Vt. - Lyndon earned its first match victory of the season Saturday with a 9-0 victory over arch-rival Johnson State. The Hornets now stand at 1-4 on the season while the Badgers fell to 0-2.

Michael Howard (Rocky Hill, Conn.), Tyler Schofield (Middleboro, Mass.) and Daniel Weiner (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) picked up wins in both singles and doubles as did teammates John Corey (Bennington, Vt.) and Tyler Hall (Keene, N.H.).

Michael Desmond (Enfield, Conn.) teammed with Weiner to earn his first double win of the season while Chas Legge (Essex Junction, Vt.) collected his second singles victory of the season for Lyndon.
