LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Lyndon took command early in the second half and coasted to a 66-37 win over Green Mountain Tuesday in North Atlantic Conference play. The Hornets are now 7-16 overall and 5-11 in the NAC while the Eagles fall to 3-18 overall and 1-15 in conference.

Emily Strese (Gilmanton, N.H.) tossed in a career-high 15 points to lead Lyndon and teammate Emily Gray (Quincy, Mass.) had 13. Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) chipped in nine points and 12 rebounds and Chelsea Watson (Eliot, Maine) contributed three assists and five steals.

Jacque Caster scored a team-high 11 points for Green Mountain and Chelsea Paul collected 12 rebounds, two assists, one blocked shot and three steals.
