LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Pet Sumner scored 19 points as the University of Maine at Farmington defeated Lyndon 77-64 in North Atlantic Conference men's basketball action.

Joe McCloskey contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Beavers (14-8, 13-2) and Ben Johnson had 12 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Dan Kane scored 12 points and dished out five assists and Kevin Leary tallied 11 points in the win

Steve Gantt (Washington, D.C.) tossed in 18 points and had two steals for Lyndon (4-17, 4-10) and Jason Gray (East Thetford, Vt.) collected a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Ben Sackett (Lyndonville, Vt.) had 12 points in the loss while teammate Devyn Baranauskas (Waterbury, Conn.) added 10 points and five assists.
