modest winning streak to two matches with a 9-0 victory over
Johnson State in North Atlantic Conference women's tennis
action.

Falsetti (Albany, N.Y.) defeated Rebecca Quarantiello 6-4, 6-1
in first singles and Maria Parr
(Montpelier, Vt.) topped Johnson's Kim Blakeman 6-2, 6-0 in No. 2
singles. For there the match turned heavily in the Hornets' favor
as Kayla
Flynn (Johnston, R.I.) beat Emily Miller in third singles and
Kelsey
Johnson (White River junction, Vt.) topped Maegan Ploof in No.
4 singles by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Amber
Hartman (Readsboro, Vt.) and Margaret
George (Glover, Vt.) closed out the match for Lyndon by earning
wins in fifth and sixth singles. They defeated Kate Murphy and
Catlyn Hughes, respectively, by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles action, Falsetti and Parr teamed up at No. 1 doubles
to defeat Blakeman and Miller 8-4. Johnson and Flynn collected an
8-1 win in second doubles over Quarantiello and Ploof while Hartman
and George topped Murphy and Hughes, 8-0, in third doubles
play.
