Lyndon picked up another North Atlantic Conference win to improve
to 2-1 on the season as they defeated Green Mountain College
8-1.
Reigning NAC Rookie of the Week
Teddy Fournier (Enfield, Conn.) continued his
dominance as he beat Samuel Dixon in No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-4 before
teaming with Mike Howard (Rocky Hill, Conn.) in
No. 1 doubles to top Dixon and Kyle O'Boyle 8-0. Howard also picked
up a 6-1, 6-0 win in No. 2 singles over O'Boyle.
In No. 3 singles, Matt Lentes (Holyoke, Mass.) defeated Jonathan Schechner 6-0,
6-0 while Paul Thibault (Westfield, Mass.) earned
a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Andrew Serow in No. 4 singles. The team of
Lentes and Thibault also topped Schechner and Serow in No. 2
doubles 8-1. Lyndon completed the sweep of the Eagles in doubles
action when the No 3. pairing of Jeremiah Powell
(Concord, Vt.) and Tyler Schofield (Middleboro,
Mass.) picked up an 8-1 win. Schofield won his singles match 6-0,
6-1.
