CONCRD, N.H. - Abby Fadden (North Haverhill, N.H.) scored the game-wining goal in the waining minutes of the first half as Lyndon State slipped past New Hampshire tech by a score of 2-1.

Jessica Grant gave the Lynx a 1-0 lead at the 10:02 mark of the first half when she beat Hornet goalkeeper Samantha Smith (North Haverhill, N.H.) with an unassisted tally. Twenty-two minutes later, Lyndon's Kathy Kline (Coventry, R.I.) knotted the score at 1-1 with an unassisted marker of her own.

That set the stage for Fadden's goal on which Kline and Jesi Amsden (Orwell, Vt.) drew assists. Smith and Natalia Shams (Swampscott, MA) combined to make five saves in the game and send the Hornets on to their fifth win of the season. New Hampshire Tech goalie Serena Quillin made nine saves in the loss.
