Waterville, ME - Vermont State University Lyndon men's basketball player Wesley McIntyre (Troy, NY) has been named to the North Atlantic Conference Honor Roll for the week ending January 18th, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

McIntyre was extremely efficient in Lyndon's only game of the week, an 89-73 conference win over rival Vermont State University Johnson.  In that game he connected on 12 of 17 field goals, including three of five from behind the arc, and finished with a game high 34 points.  He added five rebounds and four assists.

McIntyre is currently the leading scorer in all of NCAA Division III basketball, averaging 26.6 points per game.  In NAC games only he's averaging 26.3 points per game, tops among all players in the conference.

McIntyre and the Hornets will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Lexington High School in Lexington, MA, to take on Lesley University in another NAC matchup.
