Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Lyndon held their annual Athletic Awards Banquet on Wednesday evening. The VTSU Lyndon Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the VTSU Lyndon Department of Athletics co-sponsored the event.

VTSU Lyndon SAAC President Alberto Bustamante (Northridge, CA) welcomed student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and guests. He also served as master of ceremonies for the event.
Vermont State University President David Bergh was in attendance and expressed his congratulations to Hornet student-athletes.
VTSU Lyndon Director of Athletics Chris Gilmore, SAAC Advisor Tara Nelson, and Hornet head coaches also spoke and presented awards.
Several major department awards were presented:
Dudley Bell Most Outstanding Male and Female Athletes: senior women's basketball player Sage Smith (Colebrook, NH) and senior men's basketball player Gregory Gonyea Jr. (Dolgeville, NY)
Champions of Character Award: senior volleyball player Charlotte Morris (Middletown, DE) and junior men's soccer player Quinn Bressler (Norton, MA)
Green and Gold Awards (female and male athletes with the highest GPA): sophomore women's basketball player Hannah Badertscher (Irasburg, VT) and junior men's soccer player Quinn Bressler (Norton, MA)
SAAC Coach of the Year: men's basketball coach David Pasiak
SAAC Fan of the Year: Jack Holley
