Hornets shut down Terriers

LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Lyndon ran its North Atlantic Conference record to 4-0 Friday with an 88-72 victory over Thomas at Stannard Gymnasium.

Devyn Baranauskas (Waterbury, Conn.) tossed in 23 points and had a game-high two steals for the Hornets (5-3) while Jason Gray (East Thetford, Vt.) chipped in 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots. George Carle (Central Falls, R.I.) had eight points, 10 rebounds and two steals for the winners and Patrick Dunn (Schenectady, N.Y.) added 10 points off the bench.

Jose Fortunato (Boston, Mass.) just missed a triple double, amassing 11 points, nine rebounds and a game-high nine assists.

Levi Barnes led the Terriers (5-4, 2-3) with 15 points and two steals and teammate Franklin Salvador had 13 points. Marquis Pollard, Jerrod DeVaughn and Shaun Munson had four rebounds each in the loss and Justin Murray Handed out three assists.
