LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Middlebury women's basketball team jumped out to an 18-2 lead and coasted to an easy 69-40 victory over Lyndon in non-conference women's basketball action at Stannard Gymnasium.

Maddie Moreau led a balanced Panther attack with 14 points while Tracy Borsinger had 13 points, six rebounds and three steals. Brittany Perfetti collected 12 points and eight rebounds in the win and Scarlett Kirk chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds. Stephany Surrette grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Middlebury, who improved to 7-15 overall.

Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) had 12 points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots for the Hornets (7-13) and Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) added six points and nine rebounds. Jasmin Amaral (Westport, Mass.) and Chelsea Watson (Eliot, Maine) collected two steals and two assists, respectively, for Lyndon.
