Biography

2017-18:  Entering third intercollegiate season.

2016-17:  Played in 19 games, starting twice...  Averaged 9.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 52.1% from the floor...  Scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds 22 minutes in his Hornets debut against MCLA on 11/15...  Scored 16 points on 8/11 shooting and grabbed a season high nine rebounds against Green Mountain on 12/8...  Scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds vs Castleton on 12/10...  Scored eight points in 10 minutes against Maine-Farmington on 1/7...  Scored 11 points in 16 minutes against Thomas on 1/28...  Scored a career high 22 points and added 6 rebounds in 28 minutes against Husson on 2/3...  Tallied 15 points and six rebounds against Maine Maritime on 2/4...  Matched his career high with 22 points on only eight shots and pulled down eight rebounds while playing a season high 29 minutes against NEC on 2/8...  Made his first collegiate start in the NAC quarterfinal against Maine-Farmington on 2/21.  Scored 15 points and grabbed four rebounds...  Scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds in 14 minutes in the NAC semi-final against Husson on 2/24.

2015-16:  Redshirt at Dean College.

2014-15:  Played three games at Monroe Community College, scoring 11 points.

High School:  Played three varsity seasons at Ledyard under coach Dave Cornish...  1,000 point scorer who averaged 19 points per game...  Was an All-State selection in 2014...  Played club basketball for the Westchester NY Hawks...  Also played football.

Personal:  Son of Montess Charles and Derrick Gray...  Has one brother, Desmond...  Academic goal is to make the Dean's List....  Athletic goal is to make All-Conference...  Most memorable athletic moment was being named All-State in 2014...  Person he respects and admires most in sports is Lance Stephenson because that's his favorite NBA player....  Favorite TV show is ESPN...  Favorite musical performer is Meek Mill...  Favorite activity outside of basketball is 2K18...  He loevs making his family proud.
