Henniker, NH - The Vermont State University Lyndon volleyball team traveled to New England College for a non-conference matchup on Thursday evening. The host Pilgrims were too much for the Hornets, as NEC swept Lyndon, 3-0, by scores of 25-8, 25-21, 25-13. NEC improved to 2-4 with the win, while Lyndon remained winless in fpur contests.
Tyra Kelly paced the Pilgrims with eight kills. Jenna Sinclair added five kills and three digs, while Alexandra Seijas-Quea recorded 11 assists.
Olivia Cordova (Craig, CO) had four kills and four digs for the Hornets. Nei'Shae Clegg (Coolidge, AZ) added three kills and eight digs and Haylee Walker (Sierra Blanca, TX) dished out six assists.
Lyndon next travels to Paul Smith's College for a Saturday afternoon doubleheader. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
