Lyndonville, VT - Numerous Lyndon State College, Northern Vermont University-Lyndon, and Vermont State University Lyndon alumni returned to campus over the past weekend to take part in the VTSU Lyndon Alumni Council's Fall Weekend.  Hornet athletics played a prominent part in the weekend,as numerous Alumni Games, and varsity men's and women's soccer and women's tennis matches were among the highlighted activities.

Saturday was full of Alumni games, including baseball, men's and women's basketball, soccer, and softball.  The 4th annual Mark O'Brien Alumni Men's Basketball game kicked things off.  Baseball and women's basketball also conducted alumni games, while the soccer alumni game was a co-ed affair.  A home run derby, sponsored by the softball program, capped off the day.

There were also several varsity contests over the weekend.  The women's tennis team hosted Husson University on Saturday and Thomas College on Sunday.  Sunday also saw a soccer doubleheader, as the Hornet men and women both squared off against VTSU Johnson.

The entire Lyndon athletic department thanks the VTSU Lyndon Alumni Council and all Hornet alumni who made it back to campus for a great weekend.  We hope to see everyone again soon.
