Delhi, NY - Vermont State University Lyndon scored the first 17 points of Friday night's North Atlantic Conference women's basketball game at the State University of Delhi. The Hornets never looked back, rolling to a 67-24 victory over the Broncos. Lyndon improved to 10-12 on the season and 7-5 in the NAC, Delhi remained winless in 22 outings, including 12 conference contests.
Sage Smith (Colebrook, NH) again led the way for Lyndon, scoring a game high 23 points on 10/15 shooting. Kadienne Whitcomb (West Burke, VT) also finished in double figures with 13 points, Kerigan Disorda (Benson, VT) led the Hornets with nine rebounds and four assists.
Shakera Fullenwilder scored eight points to lead Delhi.
The Hornets will take on NAC West leading State University of New York at Cobleskill in their conference finale on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
