Randolph, VT - The Vermont State University Lyndon women's soccer team traveled to Vermont State University Randolph on Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately for the Hornets, they came up on the short end of a 5-0 result. The win was Randolph's first in 12 games this season, while the Hornets remain winless in ten starts.
Savannah Perry scored two goals for the Knights, while Yvonne Roberge, Brookelyn Kimball, and Kallista Tyler scored one goal apiece. Randolph outshot Lyndon, 19-0. Kerisa Van Olst (Salisbury Center, NY) and Aracely Delgado-Juarez (LaBelle, FL) combined to make nine saves in goal for the Hornets.
Lyndon will get back into North Atlantic Conference play on Saturday afternoon when they host Lesley University at 1:00 pm. Saturday will also be Senior Day, as the Hornets will recognize their senior women's and men's soccer players.
