Hornet Women’s Soccer Fall to SUNY Cobleskill

The Vermont State University Lyndon Women's Soccer team was outnumbered and outmatched in a conference matchup against SUNY Cobleskill, falling 7-0 at the end of 90 minutes.

The Cobleskill Fighting Tigers missed their first few chances on net before Gabby Downey received a pass from Amanda Rice in the 16th minute and put the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal. EmmaJo Schmidtman would score and Jessica Carney would put two away to put Cobleskill up by four going into halftime.

The Hornets continued to battle in the second half, turning away several Fighting Tiger opportunities.
