MCLA runs away from Hornet men's soccer

Lyndonville, VT - Masxsachusetts College of Liberal Arts took advantage of its superior depth to defeat Vermont State University Lyndon, 9-0, in Tuesday's non-conference men's soccer game.  The Trailblazers improved to 5-3 on the season, while the Hornets fell to 0-5-1.

Traizen Griffith had a hat trick to lead MCLA.  He also added an assist.  Kyle Almedia had a goal and an assist and five other Trailblazers found the back of the net once, as MCLA used 27 different players in the game.

Four goalkeepers shared the shutout in the MCLA net.  Ryan Taylor played the first half and recorded one save, while Oliver Le Lacheur, Deni Rizvic, and Michael Harris split the second half.  D'Amecio Singleton (Savannah, GA) went the distance in goal for Lyndon and made 15 saves.

MCLA outshot Lyndon, 36-4, with 17 shots on goal to two for the Hornets.  The Trailblazers also earned 14 corner kicks to none for Lyndon.
