North Myrtle Beach, SC - The Northern Vermont University-Lyndon softball team split a pair of exhibition games on their second day at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic.  The Hornets claimed a 6-3 victory in the first game of the day.  Next, Lyndon fell to the University of South Carolina Sumter, 15-8.  Neither contest counts on Lyndon's season record or statistics.
