Framingham, MA - Framingham State University jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, downing Northern Vermont University-Lyndon in straight sets to capture Tuesday evening's volleyball match. The Rams improved to 7-4 on the season, while the Hornets remain winless in 12 outings.
Framingham dominated the match from start to finish, winning 25-4, 25-5, 25-3. Anna Szymanski had a big night for the Rams, finishing with 15 of Framingham's 29 kills and adding five digs. Isabel Henwood was credited with seven assists and Malia Shields recorded a match high seven digs.
Emori Davis (Fairfield, TX) and Charlotte Morris (Middletown, DE) each had three digs for Lyndon. Morris had a pair of assists, and Davis had one of Lyndon's kills, along with Calysta Lohman (Seward, AK) and Kiara Mack (Winooski, VT).
The Hornets are off until next Wednesday, September 28th, when they travel to Castleton University for a 6:00 pm non-conference matchup.
