Chicopee, MA - Elms College was in control throughout Wednesday evening's volleyball match with Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. The host Blazers cruised to the straight set victory, 25-9, 25-7, 25-9. Elms improved to 7-14 with the win, while Lyndon fell to 0-21.
Jaylianne Ramos and Laura Jensen had ten kills apiece for Elms. Jaylin Holman had 16 assists for the Blazers, while Jensen and Samantha Bassell each finished with eight digs. Saleena Porter (St. Johnsbury, VT) had a pair of kills for Lyndon. Calysta Lohman (Seward, AK) and Kiara Mack (Winooski, VT) had four digs each.
The Hornets will close the season on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Northern Vermont University-Johnson for a pair of North Atlantic Conference matches. The originally scheduled match will start at 1:00 pm, with the match which was postponed from September 25th to follow.
